League Rules

Code of Conduct

 The following Regulation govern the conduct of each and every Player in the Association and any breach of the Regulation shall be dealt with as follows:

(a) A Player who:

Maybe suspended or expelled from the Association, with or without warning by the Commissioner and the Team to which the offending Player belongs may forfeit one or more games, in the sole discretion of the Commissioner.

(b) In supplement to and not so as to limit the Rules of the Canadian Amateur Football Association, any Player guilty of Unnecessary Roughness shall be suspended for three (3) plays during the game by the game officials and any Player guilty of Unnecessary Roughness and suspended from play by the officials for the second time in that game shall be suspended for the balance of that game, and may also be suspended from the next league or playoff game, which ever is first, in the sole discretion of the Commissioner.

(c) Any player found by the officials in a game to be guilty of rough play with intent to injure shall be immediately suspended from all further play in the Association pending a hearing in the presence of the Commissioner who shall, in his sole discretion, make a decision as to the further play of that Player.

(d) Any Team Staff swearing on the field or the sidelines during a game shall be subject to an automatic objectionable conduct penalty and possible suspension.

 

Field / Stadium Rules

 All rules apply to all Fields/Stadiums where CPFA games are scheduled. This also includes the surrounding areas. These areas Include: bleachers/stands, corridors, parking lots, and press boxes.

 

Player Release Rules

 A player must go to his home field to try out for that team. If the player is released (by filling out the release form they may play for any team that accepts them, with the understanding that they have the option in their future years to try out again for their home team that had previously released them, or to remain with their current team.

 Any releases must be signed by the Head Coach of the releasing team and of the accepting team. The parent of the child being released must also sign the form acknowledging the above criteria.
